    K24 Swap

Thing that would attract me to putting a K24 in my 6th gen is my wife's 7th gen K24 vs my 6th gen F23 - on a bigger heavier car she had more hp, more torque, better acceleration (at least perceived :) ) *and* considerably better gas mileage. That drove me nuts. She could drive like Mario...

DIY Short shift mod (squishy gears?)

I cut another couple inches' worth of thread onto the lever (boy was THAT hard work, and that die and wrench got HOT!), then chopped a couple inches off the top. Loved the shorter lever, but the long throws meant things still felt a bit sloppy. Then I added a short-shift adapter, and that...

    DIY Clutch Replacement (4 cylinder)

This is the clearest, best illustrated how-to I've come across thus far. I'm swapping my munged-up transmission next week, so this thread DEFINITELY comes in handy! Thanks much for the work!

What'd you do to your accord today?

Positive. All the mechanicals were moving, and I could work the piston cups in both cylinders back and forth with zero difficulty. And I can hear the slack adjusters clicking since I did the job. I know the rears were doing something 'cause everything was covered with brake shoe dust when I...

    Complete bushing kit availability?

You moved forward with any of your bushings yet? Interested in hearing how it's going for you. This is a very timely thread. I've got to Do Something™ about the clunks, squeaks, and bouncies going on in my 01 LX sedan's rear end. Left rear's sitting about 3/4" lower than the other three corners...

What'd you do to your accord today?

Today? Drove it to church, then swung by wallyworld and put in a new battery. Old one had a crack in it. For some reason little puddles of sulfuric acid in my engine bay don't appeal. :) Oh, and ordered new plugs and wires - NGK. YESTERDAY was the big day: four wheel brake job. Pads up front...

Spotted on the way to the beach...

Took a bunch of teenagers to the beach last month, and bumped into some guys at a gas station in Wildwood heading to a car show in South Florida. Couple of nice cars, and one with a bit of a surprise... 1969 Firebird w/ 400 - my dream of dreams muscle car. If only... :) 1967 Camaro...

    Greetings from Gator Country!

Yeah, I kinda tend to run away with it once I start typing. :) Thanks! And I know exactly where my car's going - NOwhere! At least, not until the new pads and rotors show up. :)

    Greetings from Gator Country!

Well, well, well, another Honda oriented forum which I may peruse in my copious spare time! Yee-ha! :smiley-face-popcorn So, introductions are in order: I'm one of those Bible-thumping born-agains your Sociology profs warned you about. I break networks for a wee lit'l' University down here...
