    J32A2 + 6MT swap in my '01 F23/H23 5MT chassis

I hear you on the legroom, having the stock dash which resembles that of the civic doesn't necessarily offer the best space. Although you make a great point that I never thought about. Usually people swap dashes just for the look/different feeling, but I never thought to check how the actual...

    J32A2 + 6MT swap in my '01 F23/H23 5MT chassis

Awesome find Bense! I'm confused as to why you were told it couldn't be done on your car though, from memory I can't recall any extreme differences between the two chassis'. It might not be tangible but a bunch of folks have opted to swap their dashes and center console with the CL-S's, so maybe...

DIY removing green film from heater controls

Very interesting, i'm contemplating whether or not it would be cheesy to maybe use some different colored films of the persons choice instead of the green piece you removed for each button.:)

Code P0505 With a Strange AfterMath

I had the exact same situation a couple of weeks ago after starting to drive the accord from it sitting for a couple weeks. After a week of various tests and head-scratching I put in a new fuel pump and the problem was solved. You should still double check all vacuum lines to make sure you can...

    Warped rotors?

I don't think you're brake problems are a result of rotor warp. I remember reading a forum discussing our brake systems and many said that the accords are a little flawed in this department from factory. Most of the time if I recall correctly people said they felt spongy and unwilling to really...

    6-speed swap emissions inspection

Hello all, i've been researching for a couple weeks now with some answers here and some there. But today I also called RPM Performance which is a shop in NY that has extensive experience with our j swaps along with k,d and b builds so i'm assuming they more or less knows their stuff. The owner...

    Switching to Synthetic +other stuff

I've switched from conventional to synthetic in the past when I first got my car. Previous owner used conventional for 70k miles and I cold turkey just switched it to Mobil 1 as soon as the first oil change was due. No problems at all and still running just fine!

    Lower Tie Bar?

Hmm, just looking at the designs of both bar pics it looks like the neuspeed one would be a slightly better fit for someone with larger piping. In 1NOnlyAccords picture it seems the only reason he had to cut it was because the top portion that's horizontal interfered with the flex flange. The...

    Tranny options

Like the two previous posts stated there's a ton of information out there. There are plenty of threads to choose from to choose from but take this one for starters. It's a 100+ page discussion on RichieV6's module and throughout the whole thing a good portion of questions can be answered. After...

    Infinite Bubbles!

If you have double checked your bolts and lines and they are good and snug try the fluid resevoir. Get a friend to help you do this to check if it's sealed: Spray some Simple Green or even dish soap and water around the cap, then have your buddy press the brakes and if any bubbles form there...

Whats your MPG on a full tank?

For city driving one key thing to remember is gently accelerating from dead stops. I was told early on that that is a great way to save some gas, and never really understood it until I tried it for a week. Also our transmissions will thank you for the gentleness :D

    insurance refusing to paint

From personal experience working in body shops I can tell you this is the kind of situation that has made me have to move on from many of them. Getting jerked around is never fun especially when you really love your car. If I were to be in your shoes, i'd get the car out of there. That's in...

What is cheap way to make your car as quiet as much as possible?

I was also interested in having the cabin of the car retain it's silence more in our cars. Sort of like how the newer cars have more padding/insulation and seals. As the members posting before me have stated, the form of Dynamat at the supply stores is very good. That involves removing the door...
