    So after being in Georgia for the last 2 weeks for work, I'm finally home, and ready to get back to work. If I manage to get anything done tomorrow I'll throw up some new pics, although it's usually my custom to take a couple of lazy days when I get back from out of town.

    DIY - fuel/trunk release cable.

    True. But you never know with electronics. Could work fine, then bam! Nothing. The reason it wouldn't let you open it with the car on is Cos it thinks you're driving down the road. Or at least mine does. It has the green key light in the bezel and basically doesn't let any of the fob stuff...

    It is tuff to just bite the bullet and do it... My gas lid works fine and my trunk popper on my keys still works so I've just kind ignored it. However, my next project is going to be a center light bar delete, so the key hole for the trunk will be gone, so before I do that would be the perfect...

I think one of my biggest hurdles is the fact that I didn't really come out with a whole picture design plan before I started and kind of am winging it as I go. Which is kind of fun, as the project keeps getting bigger and more detailed...

    As for games and what not, my old iconia a500 can play psx games without any lag, so that should do fine. Plus with bt, I can connect it my ps3 controller for wireless gaming or connect it to the hu for surround sound for movies. For connection points, I left most of the tabs/screw points...

    For dampening, I've still got all of the chop material that was in the original center console that I plan on put in (basically) the same area. However, I hadn't thought of that as far as vibration goes... So good call on that. I might do slips of rubber or something like that at install points...

    Couple of new pics. Even though it was still raining, I decided to go burn up the rest of my resin. Got the first layer on the passenger side of the center console area and some more reinforcement where the glove box used to be. Gotta run to the store tomorrow and get some more mat and resin.

    Couple of new pics. since I couldn't get any glassing done today, I started doing a little prep work done to the center area. I still need to figure out the e-brake hole, and I'm going to have to take the seats out which will turn into quite the PITA... But will make thinks a lot less messy.
