Auto to manual harness and ecu swap

Pretty sure it's all plug and play then. There's going to be some rewiring of the chassis harness I think, especially of you want clutch saftey switch, reverse lockout, etc. But that stuff isnt hard at all

I like these taillights a lot actually. Keeps the OEM aesthetic but modernizes it quite a bit. Especially since there's so many taillight options for this chassis that don't look great. Besides this set and the Intec taillights, I prefer the stock tails.

Auto to manual harness and ecu swap

What motor do you have? F23 or J30? I did my J32 6 speed swap last year and it's pretty much plug and play, minus rewiring one connector for the ecu if you have a Acura CL donor car.

    Richard's '03 CL-S 6MT

Yeah haha I'm super against putting a headunit in the TLS. I missed my CD player in the Accord a lot turns out. I think Crutchfield does offer a harness to retain steering wheel controls for the headunit, but I opted against buying it at the time because the RSX steering wheel I swapped in...

    Richard's '03 CL-S 6MT

That can easily fixed if you swap in an headunit lol. I have a backup cam that goes to my headunit but it didn't have android auto compatibility...which would be nice. I just don't drive the car enough to justify shelling out the 400+ to get an Android Auto headunit. The backup camera is super...

Haha I hate that pause when clutching, it'll definitely be gone for sure. The braided line will clean up some of the old line, but it will be a little longer in length since they make it a universal line. I highly recommend using a vacuum bleeder to help bleed that line completely. It may take a...

    Brake Upgrade Options

Happy to help! 17" wheels are the lowest you can go. I cleared them with 04-08 TL wheels (Base or Type S wheels). 17x8+45 are the OEM TL wheel specs that clear the RL calipers. If you're running aftermarket wheels you'll need to make the there's enough backspacing from the hub to the caliper...

I don't know if you've had the check valve deleted on your CL or not, but HeelToe offers new OEM Slave cylinders with the Clutch delay check valve deleted. I love the way the clutch feels without it. I bought a new slave for the TLS since the clutch feels awful with the valve present. What...

    Brake Upgrade Options

You'll need an adapter for the RL calipers. I recommend Fastbrakes kit since they include a hubcentric ring that goes on the hub for the rotor whereas other kits don't. You'll need the ring otherwise you'll be chasing steering wheel vibrations like I was since the 350Z rotor won't sit flush on...

Having a beater that's fun to whip around in almost made me not want to do the swap. I don't blame you for taking your time. If I had the money I'd have considered J35A4/6-speed swapping the Accord and keeping the CL but found the TL-S instead.

A stock body FRS looks so good, you don't need for a kit for it like you might for a CG. These are aging very nicely.....shit it's been a decade already. It's kinda sad to see everyone chopping these up to go widebody. What happened to your fender?:superhack:

Any idea what axles you're going to swap out to? I was considering Insane (mixed reviews) or Raxles, but their quote came out to be too much since they wouldn't accept my cores. I ended up buying brand new OEM axles (that hurt the wallet).

Boshi's SSM 2001 Accord Sedan LX

I love the TEs. 16s with the meaty tire and with a nice drop completely transforms these cars. I'd run a 5-10mm spacer to get the wheels flush but damn does it look fresh. I still have to do the rear suspension refresh for my Accord. I got tired of wrenching on the car for almsot 3 months doing...

    DesiKid's 01 Accord Sedan EX-L

I'll have to look into this for my TL-S for sure! I was looking at the USA Spec BT45-ACU but can't bring myself to shell out $230 for it yet when my aux cord works just fine.

Yeah sorry meant to clarify dash harness. Some people bring the dash harness with the dash swap so they're able to get some extra features. For street driving ABS is always nice to have even though I have the RL BBK upgrade. Does your CLS6 not have ABS? Mine saved my a** when I was dailying the...

    DesiKid's 01 Accord Sedan EX-L

Lol I have the same dash issue, all of the vents are popping out of the dash since it's warped. One thing I heard is that if you do the dash swap, you can somehow get the side mirror to tilt down when putting the Accord into reverse like how it is in the CL. I do miss that feature, but that's...

Unfortunately, I dont have the stock headunit. The CL came with a single din aftermarket radio :emotions122:. I remember I used to rock a cassette wired adapter in the Accord if your phone still has a headphone jack?

Thanks Richard, if i count the time I've had the Cl donor car, it's been about 3 years to complete the swap haha. The subframe on my CL is mint...considering it's been covered in engine oil since I had a leaky j32 lolol, so I'm selling the shell to a buddy for $700. If you want anything off of...

    L.E.D. Headlights

Just saw that you're Canadian... I think the Canadian spec accords had the DRL. LEDs should still work but you might have to run a different harness that supports them. I know for my 08 TL-S that comes with halogen DRLs you need to purchase a LED DRL Decoder module in order to run LED lights...

    DesiKid's 01 Accord Sedan EX-L

Long but overdue update. Car is officially J32A2 and 6spd swapped from my CL-S donor car. Took me about 2.5 months to complete the swap from pulling the motor out of the CL, refreshing it, pulling Accord motor, and swapping in the new drivetrain. I was able to get the IMRC fully functional as...
