    HIDs in stock fog lights

Wondering if anyone has successfully retrofitted HIDs into the stock 6th gen fog light housing. When I inquired with the shop previously they told me that they would need to cut the rear of the housing to make the H3 HID bulb fit. Has anyone done it successfully? Is there a shorter HID H3...

    Replacing suspension mounting parts

Thanks for checking Chris. As for 12 in both pics, those dust covers don't fit the koni yellows. After a quick search I found some Civic guys were getting universal dust covers from parts shops. Here is a pic of an example Credit for the pic comes from this thread on OZ Honda

    Replacing suspension mounting parts

I emailed Koni and this is their reply The KONI sport yellow dampers only include the washers/sleeve/installation nut. Front KONI’s include (10,8,13,5,15), rear KONI’s include (13,3,4,1,18) So that leaves in front (6, 7, 9, 11, 12) and the rear (2, 10, 11, 12, 14, 15); so are any of these...

Replacing coilovers - FF2 or koni yellow?

I'm stuck in a decision between getting Form & Function 2 or replacing my koni yellow shocks. Koni will not replace my shocks under warranty since my ground control sleeves are seized onto them. I also have to get new suspension components as my bump stops and shock mounts need replacing... I...

    Replacing suspension mounting parts

I'm planning to get brand new mounting parts to install my ground control coilover sleeves and koni yellow shocks. Dealer is quoting close to $500CAD and even Majestic Honda is coming up to $400CAD (after conversion) That price is everything except spring and shock from these pics I...

Ground control sleeves seized onto koni yellows

So I wanted to send in my koni yellow shocks for warranty but can't get the sleeves to come off!! I tried a couple mechanics and they told me the sleeves would be damaged in the process. Any suggestions? Pics attached

    Wheel Fitment Thread

I found a staggered set of TE37s 18x8.5+22 front and 18x9.5+33 rear. They are currently wrapped in 245/35 and I would replace them with 225/40/18 tires. Any safety issues with this setup? I drive 100km (~65 miles) five times a month each direction on the highway to my contract job. Someone...

Looks like 18x9 +35 has 9mm more clearance than 18x9.5 +38 so it should be good!! Thanks for the offer Chris. Since they are different wheels it may not give any information

SRS light culprit: passenger seat weight sensor?

My 2000 Accord coupe has an SRS light on I tried to reset it myself and no luck. So I took the car to a garage to get the code read. They told me the passenger seat weight sensor was the culprit. This shop said it couldn't fix they problem. Then I took my car to a shop that deals with...

DIY- LX 5 Lug and Rear Disc Swap

I answered this in a previous post. The rear calipers on a v6 sedan are the same as an i4 coupe. The rear pads are the same but it's just the calipers that look the same.

Ground Control coilover sleeves - discussion

Many thanks to Chris for all the great information! Rims are 19x8.5 +35 with 225/35/19 rubber. My height is 24.75" front and 25" rear. Zero gap all around with no tucking All I need to do is get an alignment so the tires are straight all around. Rear fenders are rolled

Going from stock you should probably look into getting FF2's so you also have dampening ability (rather than FF1's)

I recommend it or else you will have to camber the wheels to avoid rubbing against the rear fender "lip"

    Wheel Fitment Thread

I have 19x8.5 +35 wrapped in 225/35 rubber. I'm lowered on eibach sportlines (soon to be replaced with GCs) and koni yellows. I do not rub except on large dips. Fenders are rolled. I need to relocate bumper tab and get an alignment. I'm using camber kits on all 4 corners

Does anyone know if RPF1 in 17x8 +45 offset will clear the RL caliper? These are the same specs as the TL wheels but I want to know if anyone is running them or at least test fitted them. Thanks :canada: EDIT: It looks like it scrapes the inside of the wheel on a 8th gen Civic. Just not sure...
