1998 Accord P1607 Alongside other sensor high voltage codes

That many high voltages is probably a bad 5v rail on the ECU

    Transmission Issues, very hard shifting

LOL, do they make performance clutch packs for autotragics? Would be great

    Transmission Issues, very hard shifting

What goes bad in the tranny that causes it?

F23 distributor mod for adjustable timing

Dang that sucks.. What about delaying the input to the computer, less mechanical/fun but then the computer wouldn't have any idea; only side effect would be retarded injector timing. Edit: Actually I already have an Arduino controlling ignition and fooling the MAP sensor so I'll use a spare...

F23 distributor mod for adjustable timing

So quite a few people are aware that the distributor on the 98-02 F23A1 is non-adjustable, it has two bolt holes and both are too narrow to spin the distributor a meaningful amount. However that begs the question; if I were to mill larger slots where the holes are to make it adjustable, would...

    Engine bay tucking and re-organizing

Alright guys, not-so-little-update... Finished the injector hijacking thingy; thing is insanely cool, usually my electronics projects don't go well, but this one is pretty useful! It only took: an Arduino nano, L298N H-bridge, micro relay, lots of resistors, a capacitor, an iic display, a...

    Engine bay tucking and re-organizing

That harness looks amazing, yeah I love the adhesive shrink tube, takes a ton of force to pull out! You guys gotta stop flippn arguing lolol, obvi twisting and taping isn't for rocket surgery.. I've nearly finished working on something you might all like, all goes well I'll post a tutorial...

    Engine bay tucking and re-organizing

Holy crap, Capsidx, the shear amount of work to move all those wires... Did you solder the connections and heatshrink, or use connectors?? That looks far better than before but where the guacamole is your battery?! Seems like it's safe to remove the ABS so I'll go ahead and research the...

    Engine bay tucking and re-organizing

I've been trying for a while now to get my engine bay as empty as possible.. Removed the compressor, compressor mount, AC radiator, AC hoses and such, power steering pump, PS reservoir, and PS cooling hardline.. Lots more different things were removed as well, but now I've hit a wall. I...

    F23A1 random misfires under vacuum

Also there seems to be a lot of pressure in the valve cover, oil occasionally sprays out the plug boot seals, added a catch can and filter but it didn't help much.. The PCV doesn't go to the IM anymore so it shouldn't be related to the misfires; I did clean the oil out of the plug holes and try...

    F23A1 random misfires under vacuum

Like the title says the car misfires a bunch under vacuum; while it sounds like a dragon grumbling out the hood exit, was wondering if it's normal in a stock engine.. Maybe you don't hear it because of the catalytic converter and mufflers? It happens during deceleration from >30MPH, I found an...

    F23 auto ecu options

Holy guacamole you're awesome.. This is perfect! To use it you just plug in the harness and program it? Nearly to good to be true, gonna do more research on em

    F23 auto ecu options

Definitely true, every time it goes over atmospheric now it instantly cuts.... I'll go to the junkyard this weekend and grab an ECU to chip... Or I'll cave and get a hondata..

    F23 auto ecu options

Is it possible that the turbo's oil leak isn't what's causing the car to stall? I am finding good amounts of oil in the intake after really laying into the throttle, but it misfires so strangely after it happens.. I can keep it under atmospheric with the turbo hooked up and not have issues...

    F23 auto ecu options

http://wikitest.pgmfi.org/bin/view.pl/Library/EasyRtpV10 This is a way to live tune the ECU, think I may try it out.. instead of buying multiple different tools to do separate jobs!

    F23 auto ecu options

This ECU comes chipped with a cable and basemap.. The trouble is, do they even have basemaps for my engine?! So few tuners mess with F23s, but anyways if I get this kit and a burner that may be a better route

    F23 auto ecu options

Okay so I'm buying the jumper harness for OBD2B to OBD1, a P28 and socket, and the OBD1 ECU to chip.. What else do I need to tune this? I'm going to map the gear selection to shift solenoid states until I swap a manual and just use some fancy electronicals to actuate them.. Looks like I need...

    TD04L on F23A1 oil leak

LOL I wonder too, it shifts hard from 2nd to first so maybe its nearing the end, however the tranny fluid looked very good when I bought it.. Just last night I got a prototype working with the arduino, an O2 sensor and an injector. I want to put the injector in the IM and use the arduino to...

    TD04L on F23A1 oil leak

Here's the pic of the engine bay, nothing crazy but it took quite a while to get it so empty.. The power steering is gone, AC is gone, fans are gone, AC radiator is gone, compressor bracket is gone, air cleaner and air cleaner box gone, heater and heater hose gone... Only thing I won't remove...

    TD04L on F23A1 oil leak

hahaha, yep.. and yes I know it doesn't add near as much power without injectors and tuning, plus the possibility of leaning out and destroying the pistons.. I'm trying to find a way to fix this without an ECU, injectors, and harness; looks like there's a way but the idea needs some...

    F23 auto ecu options

I'm really considering just finding a 2 door manual with this engine to restart on, but it would carry its own problems too more than likely.. Did see a method today by adding injectors to the intake manifold and only engaging them during boost.. That combined with a MAP fooler should do the...

    F23 auto ecu options

Hey guys just found this OBD1 auto ECU that should be chippable but didn't come out of a VTEC car.. think it'll do??

    TD04L on F23A1 oil leak

Pretty much all stock electronics if you're wondering how it is compensating for the added air flow, will be fixing that soon but it's sort of difficult.. running 10w-40 high mileage oil just to be safe, stock internals (will be upgrading rings soon). I'll post some pics-hang on, the engine...

    TD04L on F23A1 oil leak

Okay, just checked things out, no leaks anywhere else in the oil lines or thereabout. Ordered a rebuild kit for it but won't be here for a few days :/ Side note: This turbo seriously is a perfect match to this engine if you want some low end fun.. Tons of torque and an instant spool! Also...
