6th Gen FAQ (Read Before Posting)

Please add to the Performace FAQ that when changing wheels the combined weight of the new wheel and tire combination needs to be as light or lighter than stock, otherwise the suspension will have a hard time damping the wheel movement. Think about the times you have seen cars on the highway with...

    Disc Changer Scratches Discs

My dad forced a cd into my disc changer without pressing the load button. Now on every other disc the changer makes a terrible noise and spits out the disc leaving swirl shaped scratches on the data side. Is there a fix for this?

    Canyon Carving On-Board Video

The car is completely stock. I run 42 psi front and 32 rear to make it a little more balanced. I wish it had passive rear steering like my 88' Rex Si did.

    Canyon Carving On-Board Video

Thanks for the comments guys. I used the child safety seat anchors and a cinching tie down to mount the camera. The sections I crossed into the other lane I had already seen were clear by looking up the mountain, but yah thatd be ugly. What is left foot braking? How would you shift down to be in...

    Canyon Carving On-Board Video

In the second scene I went from 90-35 in about 2 seconds. I have to cinch my belt down tight to keep me in my seat. The Accord has the most powerful braking and the best ABS Ive ever experienced.

Haha heel and toe is a secret of the pros. Its hard to get a perception of the speed Im driving. When you focus slightly off screen you see how fast things are going by.

Me driving Highland Valley Rd. in San Diego. Listen for the heel and toe. Watch my seat strain against the g-force. I bet you can't resist going for a drive after watching this. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4gc7X6yUsWg

    Is there no camber adjustment?

Found out from a Honda tech that it is not adjustable.

    Is there no camber adjustment?

Im not lowering it because I don't want to increase roll couple. I just want to get more negative camber for autocross. I can't find where adjustments would be made, does anyone know? Thanks.

    Is there no camber adjustment?

Is there really no camber adjustment on the Accord from the factory?

    Offset??

The further the wheels stick out from stock the less the suspension will be able to dampen its movements because of the extra leverage.

    Front 6.5" Speaker installation (doors)

Does your wood trim on the drivers side have a gap of 2mm between it and the door panel right where the window controls are? I'll post a pic of mine soon.

"Big Three" - Improving your electrical system

Why don't you guys trust that Honda would ground the engine properly? It's in their interest to make the engine as efficient as possible because mpg sells so if something as cheap as ground wires were the limiting factor, I don't think they would have scrimped.

    Front 6.5" Speaker installation (doors)

Yes. The screw hole was lined up and handle sat flush on the bracket. It seems that everything is in the right place but the wood trim just doesn't follow the contour of the door. I never looked at it as closely before so its possible that it always was like that.

    Front 6.5" Speaker installation (doors)

After installation my drivers side door controls won't seat right. Its all lined up but there is a gap between the fake wood trim and the door panel right where the window controls are. The snaps are in place but they just aren't snapping.
