    WTB: splash guard/mud flaps

    Thanks, mate. Not cheap for what they are. Previous owner had the back bumper cover off and then hung it back on using only the rivets along the trunk opening only. I figure while I'm in there anyway I might as well put a set of mudflaps back on.

    Definitely going to get ahead of the rust if I can. Probably do a little rustproofing while I'm at it. Thanks for the tip on the trans. Seems a weird weakness in the engineering. Damn shame in an otherwise ultra-reliable car. What tends to fail in there?
