    loose endlinks bolts (stripped)

Those look like the links that I got. I bought them off e-bay. I got the package deal, all 4 for about $70 shipped - thats almost half what it would cost to buy all 4 at the dealer. Buying all 4 at once is the most cost effective way to go - you will eventually need to replace them even if you...

    loose endlinks bolts (stripped)

If you can get a blade behind the nut and cut it off, there should be no problem sliding it out. If you can get at the threads on the back side, cutting it there would prob. be the easiset way to get it off. I couldn't move the nut at all, so there really wasn't anywhere to cut mine. I had...

    Quick question about Engine Oil.

You can start using Lucas when you change your oil. This will give you some extra protection against friction when you are low on oil.

    aftermarket Shift knobs....

I chopped my shifter and took the square out of the boot. Just get a black zip-tie and feed it through the top of the boot where the square used to be, pull it tight and cut off the slack flush. It will hold the boot inplace, and no one will be able to see it unless they know it is there. If you...

    DIY Prothane Motor Mount Inserts!!

Thanks for the DIY Totalimmortal and BlkCurrantKord. I had a tear in my fround mount and decided to try this DIY instead of replacing the mount, as you said the mounts to the sub frame were really stuck. Getting the through bolt off was the hardest part, no room to turn a ratchet down there. If...

    loose endlinks bolts (stripped)

I replaced my front end-links a few weeks ago. The hex was stripped, and it was a bitch to get off. It is a very poor desing. There is no way to replace a nut/stud or any part involved in the link, the whole link itself must be replaced. It is deffinately a good idea to replace them in pairs...

Blown Shock?? Please help me diagnose HUGE PICS

I had a lot of clunking noises coming from my passenger's side wheel. Check your sway bar end links. The sway bar can cause a lot of noise if it is loose. I just replaced my links and the noise is gone. It was a pain in the *** though, those links did not want to come off.

    Just installed Megan header!

What brand did you get? Being 1" short and pulling your exhaust in doesn't sound right. I went with obx headers. The o2 sensor is at the bottom where it goes from 2 to1 into the flex pipe so i needed to extend the wires to get the sensor down there.

    Just installed Megan header!

DC Sports sells an 02 wire extension for about $50 shipped. I just spliced my wires to extend them, that works fine too. You will hear more noise with a header as opposed to the stock manifold. It is similar to putting an intake on your car, you are moving a lot more air through the engine...

    Miles per the Gallon

I do mostly city driving and average 300-350 miles per 14-15 gallons. I have broken 400 a few times on long highway trips, but that was doing about 80mph the whole time. Over 500 miles on a tank? I didn't know that was possible with this car, I guess I drive too agressive to get that far on a...
