    Accord Has Been Stolen!

lol. i wish it worked that way. i'd rather not get into legal problems with the insurance company as they do technically own the vehicle. But the idea has crossed my mind. I no longer live in CA. After the car theft I had pretty much had it in the bay area. I'm back in New England now so...

    Accord Has Been Stolen!

So...after a year of being gone my Accord has finally turned up. Mostly all together, some minor things here and there missing, but more or less all together. Now the f*cked up part of this is, my insurance company won't sell it back to me. They already paid out the stolen car last year so they...

    Accord Has Been Stolen!

Hey guys. Figured I would post this here in case miracles actually happen. My Accord was stolen. I live in the California Bay Area (around Santa Clara, San Jose and San Francisco). PM if you see an accord that looks like what's in my signature or parts that may lead to it. Relavent parts...

    FMU topic

When i did my first turbo build 12 years ago and didn't know much I ran an FMU and some other crap parts. Don't do it! Doing it right may cost a bit more money, but you'll have a reliable car and one that works. These hacks don't actually work. My stock block F23A5 was running 15psi (switched...

    FMU topic

What does your setup look like? I would do it right and get some bigger injectors, a fuel pump, and a programmable ecu or piggy back. FMUs are a hack. What are you doing to control ignition timing?

    ★ Russianred's Turbo Build Thread! ★ *UPDATED 4/15* ★

Keeping the boost alive! Good work. Soon as things settle down over here, i should put some Mahle pistons in the Euro R motor and boost it :P

    goop in intake

I made a sheet metal one here: http://www.6thgenaccord.com/forums/showthread.php?t=24027 But if you look at the first pic in that post, My previous can was made out of PVC pipe and PVC end caps with a filter from autozone. Did the job great for years.

Any time man :). Always down to tune with AEM. These days I'm running Hondata....but my tuning skills are as potent as ever ;).

    straight pipe for the 4cyl

We'll have to wait and see what the piping size is, but my argument is that the stock ECU and it's fuel economy and emissions controls are what yielded these results. Seeing as the OP says that the spacer fixed the issues.

    straight pipe for the 4cyl

The loss of power and adverse affects I would say are from the measures the ECU is taking after seeing secondary O2 sensor readings. If the motor was tuned with a programmable ECU which doesn't make fuel and ignition adjustments for the sake of fuel economy and emissions, i would think your...

    I'm back

The 1LE was an amazing car. One of the best cars i've ever owned! Great at AutoX, comfortable, and DAT V8!!!!! In one word, to summarize why i solid it...baby. Me and my wife had our first beautiful baby girl...so I had to cut some expenses. While I am sad to see the Camaro go, you gotta do...

    Custom bumper support beam

Thanks :). I use Solidworks whenever i need to model something and do finite element analysis. For this one, no modeling software was used, just cardboard lol. "Cardboard Aided Design". A CNC plasma cutter would make my life WAAAAYYYYYY easier :P. Next on the purchase list lol. After a lathe...

    Custom bumper support beam

I'm back at doing custom work. Glad to be out of an apartment and back in a house again. Nothing beats having your own garage :). First order of business, get the accord ready for some serious autoX. That means slimming her down and lighten the load the Euro R H22 has to carry. The first custom...

    goop in intake

A catch can helps keep the intake track clean. The stock crankcase ventilation system lets quite a bit of oil through.

    I'm back

I think the subframes on the v6 and the 4 cyl accords are the same (not positive on that so don't quote me :P). So you should be able to use the traction bars on the v6. As for performance. I honestly haven't had much for a chance to put the accord through it's paces. Wheel hop is def gone. But...

    Darton Sleeves

The F22 sleeves should do just fine. Just make sure you get a good machine shop to do the work. Pretty sure there was someone on here that had problems with the sleeves being installed due to a bad machinist. And while it is not an official "G" series Honda motor, it is common H/F Frankenstein...

    I'm back

I def miss the torque from the boosted F23. The H22 is nice, but man you really need to wind it out to get anything out of the motor. Even with the T2W4 (the shortest of the H22 trans as far as i know) raw acceleration doesn't compare with the boosted F23. If you want to keep your car OBD2...

    I'm back

Lol the vibrant performance headers are quite nice. With the vibrant resonators and muffler, it's very quiet, but made good power, so doesn't seem like it is restrictive. I haven't been able to fully test the traction bars. I was living in city apartments for the past 2 years...no garage (it...

    Considering Swap Options H22/H23/F20

Another thing to consider, which I don't think anyone else has brought up, is the issue of emissions. Depending on what your set up is, you may have issues getting your car passed. Check with the emissions regulations in your county/state.
