FS: Complete Part Out of 99 Accord Coupe i4 Satin Silver

I am fully parting out my 99 Accord Coupe i4 in Satin Silver. I'm not keeping it around for long. Disabling insurance on it soon. As long as the car will still roll and not get water logged... everything is up for grabs. If you are local and want to swap parts out, we can work something...

    F20B auto swap

Sounds like you are going in the right direction if you were able to get it started. If the USDM ECU is only expecting 1 pin for P and N and the JDM is expecting separate pins, it's likely that your USDM shifter is the problem if it's combining P and N together. When you lit up the Starter...

    Brake Line leaking

There were spots where the the lines met and leaked. The amount of torque required was definitely more that I thought would be required and esp. if you are trying to loosen/tighten an old fitting with very little room... an open ended wrench will slip and begin to round the edges.

    Help!!!!!

Injectors may need to be cleaned or fuel filter. Crappy thing is that the fuel filter is in the tank as part of the pump assembly. Maybe run some injector cleaner in the tank and see if it improves. Sending out injectors for cleaning will put it out of commission...

    Brake Line leaking

The brake lines held up really well and the line wrenches were critical for getting it tight enough!

    Brake Line leaking

This is my 10mm wrench on the old line. Removing it from the proportioning valve. This is a shot of that bolt holding a strap to the hard line just above the rear suspension beam. I hit it with liquid wrench to no avail. Tried to wedge the box end of the 10mm wrench and it won't fit...

    Brake Line leaking

OK... I did the job but there were definitely issues... I'll post up some pics soon. - first, getting the plastic cover off can be a challenge. The challenge is that it is holding on to all of the hard lines exactly where (and has caused) all the rust is. All of those spots are very weak...

    Brake Line leaking

I actually have a copy of the service manual and it's not covered. They only cover replacing the rubber hose from the hard line to the caliper but not the hard lines themselves. I have the Haynes manual as well, I'll check that tonight. I'm just interested in what needs to be removed in the...

    Brake Line leaking

My 99 Accord finally sprung a brake line leak due to the rust that the plastic underside holders caused. Given that both brake lines have rust, I was considering replacing both hard lines. Honda still sells them and might be worth getting fresh lines. I've heard that there are a lot of...
