    V6 accord shuts off while driving

    if this is a 98-00 (distributer).. i wouldnt jump to those conclusions just yet. Pull the plugs and check them out, even if not old. usually if somethings wrong with the distributer(one of the cylinder specific nodes) a specific cylinder may not fire. Food for thought :) good luck.

    N/A build or Turbo

    You can find a turbo setup to be cheaper than an all out swap and n/a build. Though an n/a build may give more torque and mpgs...depending on your turbo tune ofcourse lol. Its a horse a piece!!!

    What'd you do to your accord today?

    Replaced the driver control arm cuz the ball joint had more play in it than I have ever seen... also did a brake fluid flush. Kinda surprised that brake responsiveness was noticeably better. :Smoker:

    which engine? If the v6 Ive heard it is slightly lopey nothing crazy like old muscle...it should be perfectly driveable with some adapting. Dont expect good mileage id say. I would have my hands on a set if they were within a reasonable price for me

    did you check balljoints? They can bounce up and down too. Might be hard to check with a crowbar. Make sure you cant fit a large flat head between the ball joint and lower control arms mount point...it does sound more like an engine mount though. Even if the engine mounts are all tight...

They may not be the bestheaders but having a lower coat, then the wrap, and a silicone top coat will do pretty well no matter the weather...now after winters of salt and $*** you may want to inspect them and make sure theres no exposure of the metal.     V6 headers seem legit?

    ^ Buying which headers? The first mentioned? It literally is not worth it. They have been proven to yield marginal performance gains over even the midrange Obx and Megan racing headers. Be patient and save for one of those and go SS because ceramic can crack and lead to rust.

    Is there plenty of oil in the car? Which engine? I had an issue like this when downshifting and getting on it a while back and i was 1.5qts low on oil.
