    Check engine light

    My check engine light has been on ever since I got the car and I checked what it was and it says my gas tank lid is open but it's not.     Valve cover gasket

    I'm leaking a lot of oil from my valve cover gasket so I was going to change it but the old one is pretty much glued on...how can I get it off?? I really need help and if there's already a thread about this can someone let me know. Thanks
