    AC does not work,no power to any options in center consol

    Any luck on this issue? I am having the exact same problem (2000,4-cyl,5spd) -fan works but no modes,ac,defrost,re-circulation, no lights. -I swapped the relays around and still no luck. -Intermittently turns on and works normally then shuts off, no specific trigger point for when it does...

    So we were changing out a leaky oil pressure sender and I put a wrench on it and it snapped clean off..with a piece of the block....How bad is this..? my mechanic is saying he might be able to tap the hole, install an adapter and fix it..What do you guys think? Thanks

    really...but it doesn't seem normal lol...my TL doesn't do that..but i guess thats a newer v6 too...would a flush help? or the old school method of strapping some cardboard in front of the rad help?

    No if it just idles with the heat off, the temp comes back to middle. but soon as you use the heat it goes down..

    I bleed the system and it seemed to make a very slight difference but after a while the temperature drops again. Could it be the water pump?-car has 208 000KM on it.

    Perhaps, Maybe ill take the battery out for a while and see if its something wonky like that...---but it happens when the fob is totally out of range as well...so it has to be something in the vehicles electronics... I dont think a change in weather would trigger it..
