    Transmission sounds??? please help

    I checked it out today but the sound is coming from no where near the intake. the sound is actually louder inside the car than outside. its kinda hard to hear when standing up when the hood is popped but when i got underneath the car i could hear it clearly

    I own a 2001 Accord with around 106,000mi. from what i have read our generation of Accords auto-tranny is pretty week and things tend to mess up in higher millage cars. recently when I put my car in Park or neutral the transmission makes kind of a whiney sound that is in unison with the cars...
