01-02 coupe fog options

i wasnt going to spend 200+ on a set of fog lights..when i got new 01-03 civic ones for 35$
but i know its not gonna be a perfect fit,i was thinking of taking the actual fog light out of the civic shroud and make a shroud from CF and put the fog inside there.

I'm in the same boat. Have an '02 coupe and really want fogs in the factory location without the 200+ price tag. I was looking at the 99 00 civic fogs as a starting point as they seem like a close match "shapewise"....

Any chance any of you guys have a 99 or 00 civic and can let me know the rough dimensions? Thanks.

Guys i have been asked if i can ask some of you guys that already have an 01-02 bumper for some dimensions:

Could you please give me the dimensions of a Fog light openening.

and for you 01-03 civic fog light people-the demensions to the fog light.

-I had a mishap with my 1st bumper I ordered for $49.50;they apparently didnt have it in stock anymore. So I had to wait for a refund and order it from another company last night,so I should get it mid next week.along with the fogs.

Here's some quick photos I took with my camera phone to give an idea of the size of the coupe fog light openings:

Horizontal Top - approximately 6"

Horizontal Bottom - approximately 9.25"

Vertical - approximately 3-1/8"

Ya, that'd be great. I'm ready to move on this. I'd also still be curious to get the dimensions from 99-00 fogs too. (Though I agree the 01-03 ones do look like a better fit.... gonna price them out in a bit.)

i bought mine for 24.95$+18.00$ SH=$47.95 for the 01-03 civic ones..ebay seller is k2motor with over 64,000 feedback..ha(97.5%positive)

Good info. Much nicer pricepoint than the oem ones! Plus I always like a weekend project/challenge to DIY something
