HID Ballast placement?

Where do you guys place the ballast for you HIDs? I got the regular size ballast from ddm tuning. I hear of a lot of successful installs but not many state where they place the ballast.
Any tips on the best spot for this?

i was wondering this too but i figured i would figure it out when i order the HIDs....which will be very soon!!!!!
