Came across the below thread on Azine...

http://acurazine.com/forums/tires-w...ent-discontinued-1-pc-rotora-bbk-disc-919533/

Obviously the lines connecting the front/rear sections would need extended (shown in bottom pic), and I would possibly need longer assembly bolts for holding the caliper halves together. Only other issue I can think of is it would affect how close the wheel is to the caliper which is an easy fix. The idea here is to be able to use something like the 350zed rotors (330x28mm). Current rotors are 330x23mm so spacer would be 5mm.

So when my current rotors finally go, before I declare my BBK a scrap heap I'm thinking I could have some steel spacers machined if it's a viable option. Thoughts?

caliper spacers make it wider, yes, even aluminum should be fine there. But I'f your changing rotors then offset may be f'd, and if you use a 5mm spacer you loose 5mm of wheel clearance, but re-read offset here.

There was some car I 'refit' and it could only fit 'used' pads, aka, the caliper wasn't wide enough for the rotor. Some 100 grit sandpaper cleared the new pads up!

Shouldn't be an issue other than the backspacing between the caliper and spokes. You can buy short sections of brake line at the auto parts store and rent a brake line bending and flaring kit
