This isn't regarding my 6thgen, but was hoping someone would know what's going on.
So I didn't drive my car for 4 days, and it wouldn't start after that. After a jump start, it would start but wouldn't stay on. If I let go of the accelerator, the RPM would just drop to 0.5 and then to 0 and die.
I ended up getting a new battery just in case (since my old one was very old anyway), and it's still giving me the same problem. I also ruled out an alternator problem as after starting it and taking the (+) terminal off the battery, it remained on (I had something heavy on the accelerator so it wouldn't die).
I'm thinking maybe something inside is clogged up, so the only thing I can think of is trying Seafoam or some other kind of fuel injector cleaner. Or maybe the minimum rev setting is too low? But it didn't give me any problems about 5 days ago. Anyone have any clue what's wrong?
