Hello gang,

Do you think 17x7.5 +28 with a slight drop of 1 inch should be ok without rubbing or whatever ? Don't you think that with +28 the wheels we stand out too much of the fender alignement ?

If anyone has pictures of this same setup please feel free to post if possible, would be appreciated :waytogo:

Still couldn't find any 17x7.5 +28 on a 6th gen. But i found this car below with some 18x7.5 +25.

The +25 look very nice and flush but i won't be surprised if he rubs especially with that drop and seems to me he have almost no camber at all.

Considering +28 will be 3mm inner and i should have a very slight stretched tyre i hope it will be ok to avoid rubbing plus i don't plan to drop the car as much as the one below. I should be around 2 inch in front and 1.5 in rear.

If some of you have pics of 17x7.5 with similar offset on 6th gen's please share.

My buddy runs 17x7.5 +19 on the front with 205/40 falken tires. The rear has 17x9 +39 with 215/40's. His car is lowered around 2 inches.

He's rubbing ? Do he have a camber kit or any fender job or run stock ? Any pictures of your friends Accord ?

My Accord is dropped 2 inches and I just put 17x7.5s with a +30 offset and they actually fit really well and I've encountered no rubbing so far. You shouldn't have any issues as far as I'm aware. Pics relatedIMG_20200104_132125~2.jpg IMG_20200104_132217~2.jpg IMG_20200104_132150.jpg

Thanks for your input appreciated, so the front lip rim doesn't poke out of the fender ? Seems it comes flush on the picture but not easy to judge by a picture. Also what are yours tyres dimensions ?

Nah, it doesn't poke out at all, it's actually pretty flush but that's with the +28 offset, so yours would have an extra 2mm poking out with a +30 so just keep that in mind. And right now, it's got 205/40R17 tires on it.

I should be lowered a bit lower than 2 inch so natural camber should cancel those extra 2mm. Why did you go so tight tyre wise ? 215/45R17 seems a better fitment, your wheel arches will be more full.

I just like how it looks, honestly. I have a soft spot for low profile tires, as ridiculous as they are, and myself and my friends/family who are more experienced with this stuff figured that'd be a good middle ground when it comes to looks versus ride quality. That, and the fact that I'm only just now getting into/learning this kind of stuff so beyond online and in person advice, I'm kinda just winging it lol. And most importantly, it gives me even more room to drop it even lower
