1st gear

so my 1st gear in my 99 accord is starting to knock.. is that a sign that the tranny is gonna die?

Normally its irregular laggy 1-2 shifts. A knocking could be cv axles or something of that sort.

Possible, mine used to slip between 2nd and 3rd, but it wasn't really a knock, just a high rev.

Might just need a motor mount, mine did the same for reverse. Still does it when I first start it

being the dang teenager i am.. im on first gear and hit about 4krpm.. then it knocks really bad then i have to switch to 2nd and so on.. and i already know i gotta switch my mounts because the accord already rattles when parked.. but cv axle might be the problem?
