hi all, I have just converted my 1999 1.8 sport to a h22a engine with obd1 p13 using the stock wiring harness, the car had a two pin plug on the alternator and the large wire, I'm having a hard time to sort It out as I cannot find any info on this type of plug.
I have fitted the 4pin alternator that came with the engine and added 2 extra wires ( one to ign live blk/yel and one to altC on the Ecu wht/grn) the other 2 wires that were already in the loom are wht/red and wht/blu and I am sure the wht/red wire is correctly placed in the Ecu.
The issue is when I connect the blk/yell the battery light comes and stays on but the alternator charges and if I disconnect it the light goes out and it no longer charges. Can anyone tell me where I have gone wrong?
