Either using an older gauge cluster from 1998-1999 or using an aftermarket gauge, the issue is the sensor is analog and not digital if I recall right.
I’m new here and this about a year old post. But the sensor right under the dizzy needs to be pinned to the ecu. I think that will solve tour temp issue. Engine temp sensor.
