2002 SE subframe, and AC compressor

Car is starting to piss me off. Replaced all the brakes drove fine.

Today start it and there is smoke everywhere. The AC compress took a crap.

So not got to figure that out. Also noted that the pass subframe is rusted bad.

Where do you guys get replacements for this. How hard is the change etc.

Subframe isn't so bad to replace. Probably a junkyard for that.

If you do end up replacing it, use a hose and reroute the ac condensation drain, so it won't rust again, it's right over the sub frame on the passenger side, and that's what mostly causes it. Known issue. It's easy to get the hose in there, but getting the hose clamp tight was a pain for me.

junk yards in this area "Rust Belt" really have crappy ones. I swear I seen a company had them from Fl and warmer area just have not found it again.
