So I traded in my '00 accord sedan a while back and found this '06 Speed 6 for a decent price. First off AWD is the **** and its a complete sleeper since most people think its just a regular 6. Also, boost is about as addictive as hittin the crack pipe.

Recently I tried to find that generation of MAzdaspeed 6's but they are hard to find...When I did a very short stint in car sales for Mazda I used to love to talk people into test driving the Speed6 cuz its so fun to drive. I scared the #@@$ out of a couple people who said, "This is too much power for me..." and theyd pull over and make me drive back to the dealership...You've got an awesome car....don't let it go!!!

Very rare and sporty sedan, i like it! Does it have the hideaway navigation system?

In wikipedia, it says that mazdaspee6 delivers 50% power to the rear wheels depending on the weather conditions. Does it mean is it AWD or 4WD? I think most of the time the car is FWD and when there is a need, rear wheels kick in too?

Very rare, and that's why I love it even more. I got the sport model that doesn't have the navi or sunroof. You are correct in that it isn't a full symmetrical AWD like a Subbie. It is an electronically controlled rear diff that kicks in when its needed but it is usually sending at least some power to it just due to the spinning drive shaft. You can def tell when its working though cause it will slide properly around turns. The Cobb AP allows me to set my launch control at 4,500 RPM and I don't even chirp the tires then, so I know it's working. And since upgrading the Rear Sway Bar I get a decent amount of oversteer to get her sideways in the twisties.

It def feels quick due to the turbo spooling up at like 3.5k RPM. Its got a real short gear ratio though so your in boost more often than not.

For some reason I never liked how mazdaspeed 6 or plain 6 looked like but I did love how 1st gen mazdaspeed 3 looked like. With the 2nd gen, they ruined it, it is very ugly.

But nice car and I know it's fun to drive as I drove one. AWD is awesome in snow too.
