If everything goes through with my roomate, we're picking up a 1993 Cadillac DeVille for $600. The 4.9L V8 engine with only 85,xxx miles is in prestine condition, the body on the other hand needs some work.

Plans as of now are mostly cosmetic seeing how the engine is in great shape. List so far includes, body work, paint, wheels, and some audio installation.

Body work will include taking out the clips where trim used to be and patching them up. The doors also have some rust at the hinges that we'll be cleaning up.

So far for paint I think we have decided to go with a flat gray, and that soft top will also be painted to match.

Rims will be a gloss black, i'm not sure what kind of wheel we're going with yet though.

This is a pic I took the other night of it, I will get more in the daytime.

    Any comments/suggestions welcome!

never been a fan of that year deville; but it seems like it would be a great project. for any cadi though, the rims you chose dont really seem to "match" hence the "rat theme" lol. but keep us posted...

Lift it, put some offroad tires on it, and cut the roof and canvas the top and roll cage it. Would be a fun dune/ beach runner/ offroader. still Despite it not being AWD
