Just adding a quick FYI here...

If you are looking for a donor ’03 CL-typeS, the seventh digit of the vin number tells you the transmission. I found it helpful on auction websites that post the vin.

Seventh digit:
1 = 6MT
2 = Auto

6MT = 19UYA41603A000316
Auto = 19UYA42413A015145

This bolt is used on your front engine mount, it is required simply because it is 3 millimetres shorter then your stock 1 and won't bind up the ring gear on your flywheel since it is larger then your torque converter! You can replace all 3 or just the 1!

Thank you so much for this list! I noticed not to many are performing this swap. Not sure why not, it seems like a cheap, really fun machine! The auto tranny sucks, this seems like a much better replacement for my V6 3.0L vtec! When that motor dies, I will look for a 3.2L.

How do you guys feel about the AEM series 2 EMS in place of the "Richie Controller?" Sure, its 1200.00, but you get so much with it!

I am about to do this myself in the next 2 months, wish me luck!

Can be done in i4, but not recommended. There have been a few discussions on that.

I just signed up to ask this question:
Is there any 6 speed Manual tranny I can pair with an F23 engine in an Accord 2001?
It actually came stock with a 5 speed manual tranny.
The engine gets so noisy that I always double check to make sure it's in fifth gear.

nope you need either f23, h22, h23 or fb20 transmission. They are all 5speed your best bet would be to find one with lsd

You'd have to swap to K series to get a 6spd 4cyl. But that's a whole other animal, only seen one person attempt it.

Ok so I am doing the 6 speed swap on my 1999 AV6, and I am going based on this part list posted here. In this part list it says I can use the 7gen 6speed transmission so far so good, the thing is that the 03 CL-S transmission mounts don't bolt up on the 7gen 6speed transmission, so what mounts should I use? Any help will be appreciated.
