7thgen Accord

Hey i was thinking about buying a 7th gen accord auto for my wife since we have a baby now and im trying to get rid of her celica...

anyone know of any failures with the auto 7thgen accords?? Such as the transmission like our 6thgen... is the auto tranny still weak on later gens??

The 7th Gen's have way better transmissions thanks to a totally different 4cyl engine (hence all new tranny) and redesigned V6 transmissions too. The V6 hybrid is the coolest one, if you find one, snag it.

The only weakness (other than the fact that they are ugly as sin) is that they rattle a lot and it bugs the **** outta me.

Yea i didnt feel like registering to another forum, but i did do some googling and saw alot of complaints about the tranny - http://www.carcomplaints.com/Honda/Accord/2004/ ... wondering if they got any recalls on it or not?? i really like the 7thgen

Only auto I've heard complaints about is the 2003 4cyl auto.

Yea i plan on getting at 2004 accord with 74000 miles

do not get the 03 models or tell your wife to get a 6spd

Yea I wish she would drive a 6spd but she won't, plus I think it would b difficult for her too since she gott a baby in the back..so only sedan autos...

I js notice most of the complaints are for v6 so I might jus grab the 4cyl

get the 2007 ones... u'll love the led tail more than the 03-05...
