So, first post here. New member, thought this would be a good place to be on since I have a 6th gen accord.

Anyways. So, I got my accord coupe used which came with a spoiler with the spoiler light not working. I'd like to get it working.

Someone previously seems to have messed with the wiring before. Does anyone know how the spoiler light should be wired up? The light may not even work as well, so if anyone also knows where I could get a replacement, that'd would be awesome. Thanks!

it has an adapter that plugs where the normal (back window) 3rd brake should.

post a pic of the light if you want one.

Uploaded pics into an album on here. Any time I try to upload to the post directly, it says invalid file or the images don't fit the file size requirements. So.

But where would be a place to get the adapter since I'm pretty sure I don't have one?

I don't know where to get an actual adapter.

I'd use:

I don't think you can purchase the adapter. Best thing to do is run wires straight to the third brake light or into one of the trunk lid brake lights. That last part is only applicable to coupes though.

I'm sure the actual lights are fine if the are the OEM ones. They are LEDs.

Aftermarket ones you may have some bulbs to change. OEM wings are engraved Accord on the underside.

I have my old trunk lid w/oem wing if you'd like to see a photo of anything specific. You can buy replacement spoiler led bars on eBay or try TASauto.

It's a coupe. The third brake light in the rear windshield works and there's just a plug that goes to the light housing. The led wires just kinda dangle in the trunk. It's an OEM wing though as far as I know. I have pictures in an album on my profile that show everything if you can see them

I found a replacement led bar, but I just wouldn't know how the wiring would go. If you're able to see it, I uploaded pictures of the wires and such under the third brake light and the wire from the spoiler led.

^Doesn't look like an OEM LED bar, with the plug being red (mine is gray). If it were OEM, all you'd have to do is unplug the connector from the 3rd brakelight housing and plug it into the spoiler LED light connector.

Have you compared the red plug to the gray one?

I messed around with it earlier today. That red plug doesn't quite seem like a plug really. It's more like a clamp in a way with some piece of metal that has a small slit on each side on the inner part. Certain the LED bar isn't OEM at this point.
Would you happen to know a way to wire it so I could use the third brake light connector..?
