I changed my wheel bearing on the passenger side. Immediately after the ABS kicks in anytime I apply the brakes and speeds reach below 5MPH. Pretty much as I come to a stop then the ABS stops. It also happens when I'm rolling in traffic between 2.5 - 5mph and brakes are NOT applied. You can just hear the ABS motor going. I've rechecked the ABS sensor and it seems intact. The ABS light is NOT on. I compared the gap and alignment on the ABS sensor and the teeth on the CV Axle and both seem identical. I remember hearing at a dealer something about if the wheel bearing is backwards, it would be a problem with the ABS but I don't remember if this was on Hondas or was it on another type of vehicle. I mentioned it to the mechanic who pressed the bearing and he does not think that would be the problem.
TIA!

Mine is doing exact same thing on both front wheels as I replaced both sides. ABS kicks in around 5mph or less to complete stop. Its irritating as hell! Everything seems intact and lined correctly. Anyone have any suggestions to fix for me and other member?

I jus fixed this same problem. I had to change two front abs sensors. So you may wanna have those checked to make sure theyre not shorting out.
