Add-on?

I’m on a Cobalt forum for my wife’s car and they have a nice feature that helps to cut down on redundant threads. When you go to start a new thread and type in the thread title, it will auto search for results that might match and display them for you. Not sure if this is an add-on or not, but if it's doable I think it could be helpful.
