Every description I've seen says 1999-2002 Accord. Is there a reason why 1998 isn't included?

I'm getting my swap/conversion done. The shop recommended AEM Infinity 6. Any help? Thx in adv

They probably don't list it because the 1998 and 1999 J30A1 have distributors, and the 2000, 2001, and 2002 don't have distributors instead they use ignition coils. THAT DOSENT MEAN YOU CANT USE IT ON THE 1998 OR 1999. I you really want to use the AEM SERIES 2 EMS you have to change your engine harness and motor for another J30 that comes with ignitions coils AND REPLACE YOUR AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION WITH A MANUAL. NOTE THE AEM SERIES 2 DOES NOT WORK WITH AN AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION. Engines you can use are J30A, J32A2. J32A, J35A1, J35A.

I was aware that the distributor may be the reason, but the 99 says it's compatible.

Swap will be done soon. Still unsure what computer I'm using.

    Thanks

I have the AEM Series 2 Ems on my 99 Accord and it's grate no issues so far alot of people say its not worth it but It does make a slight difference once you get it tuned. Only cons is I can't make my coolant temp gauge to work
