    Hi guys,

For those of you who have experience with aftermarket ECUs.

Is it possible for the AEM Series 2 EMS to work with the SRS system? I have seen no documentation regarding this. Is it because the ECU and the SRS modules don't communicate in the first place, or is it because AEM dozen't want to be liable for improper airbag inflation?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

ps. I'm working on a 6 speed swap from an Acura TL, still working on the funds though:)

You'd honestly be better of asking AEM

The aem ems does not control the functions of the srs system. Inside the car you will find another control box that similar to the oem ecu that controls the air bags.

Thanks, I had a feeling that the systems were completely separate.
