Followed F1 in the 90s with my dad, and just got back into it now. Great racing, great tracks, any 6th Gen drivers following this Euro-centric racing series???
Way to resurrect a thread Of course following, FP1-3, Q1-Q3, and of course race day, on SkySports. Based on your location, I am going to make a wild stab and assume you're a Hamilton fan ???
Finally!!! other car guys who watch F1. I am probably the only 6GA member from Canada who does lol. What are your thoughts on the new regulations? Engine size, aerodynamics, DRS, the new KERS system, etc #goKimi
The game has changed a lot since I use to follow it closely in the 90’s. I don’t have cable TV though so I only catch glimpses on standard tv when it’s on, the interweb, and the discussions on Top Gear lol. I just saw Rush recently, was an interesting look into Hunt and Lauda’s lives/careers. The new car designs are
Its funny because since the movie Rush, Lauda has been spotted around the pits a lot and he never use to be there in previous seasons. adding some fame to the sport i suppose. I found a decent live stream for F1, ill find it and post it for you. Personally, I like the new design. It shows how fantastic the engineering is when they are limited in size and space. cramming all that technology in while still maintain good weight and control is very impressive imo.
I don't think Canada carries F1 live, but the BitTorrent community assures you can watch it with a 6 hour delay
Nika Lauda has been a non-executive chairman for Merecedes AMG Petronas since 2012. The new car designs are certainly controversial, I think Mercedes and Ferrari pulled it off better than others. The Caterham is the worst IMO
I may need to get it back! Don't really watch a lot of TV, funny enough I ordered TSN/TSN2 for Euro 2012
