I'm in the process of gathering the parts to do a brake upgrade and have read the post from this and other sites as to what to put together. My question is who has actually done it, what are your feelings about it and what did they use? I read the diy post of the ITR caliper and the 11" prelude vtec rotor, as well as a post on how the legend caliper would have to be flipped and would ultimately have the pistons in the wrong order.

I don't drag race or autocross but I do drive it about 1000 miles a month for work and have a few oh sh*t moments on the interstate!!! I'd like to get something with some good bite but most importantly won't warp after one panic brake. Thanks for the input!!!

How about some aem bbk rotors paired with some 4pot 05-07 acura RL calipers? You can get the brackets made for about $120

how are hawk hps pads in the long run? do they dig in the rotor or cause them to warp overtime?

Alot of people (myself included) recommend HPS pads. My friends use them on their Mustangs and M3's.

I bet the braking compared to our accords is huge because of the difference in rotor and pad surface area. They're just a tad better than oem... and a little dusty.

I've had mine on for about 10k miles without changed out the rotors. If you overheat the rotor and warp them, you can usually brake softly and gradually harder and straighten them out again. No digging though... no premium pad should dig unless you really brake like you're racing.

Sweet. Thanks guys. I currently have the AEM bbk with some wagner ceramic pads, but I think it could be better. Dark, I'll check it out and see what's up.

If I go back to stock whats the best replacement rotor? I used centrics on the rears with akebono pads, but I'll try the HPS on your recommendations.

I've been running a Brembo blank (OEM Style) rotor with Hawk HPS pads for the last 4 years, and won't change to any other setup.
