01 EX v6. Have the auto CC. I like it. The auto function is pretty nice I suppose.

I kinda have a gripe tho, and maybe the rest of you auto CC guys can relate; I hate having to cycle through all the vent positions to go from head+feet back around to just the head. I already did the research and they’re not interchangeable. I don’t even think just re-wiring the plugs would be enough.

I’d almost be willing to lose the auto function for the ability to push button the position of the air flow I want. ‍

1st world problems. :lawl:

I get it though, I always felt it was unnecessary wear & tear on the system. ie. the blend doors. Was never sure if it was better to cycle through the modes fast so hopefully I'd avoid the doors having to move for modes I didn't want. Or if it was better to go slow if they'd move regardless and I should let them complete their movement. Hopefully I'm explaining that clearly.

I never used auto mode much, admittedly. It was usually a "set & forget" scenario for me.

I use the auto feature for the blower. I set the temp and then set the blower knob to auto. Just the other day was the first time I used the “auto” button. And honestly, I’m not sure how it differs.
I felt like maybe the AC blew harder and colder but just barely.

After you set a temperature and then push the 'auto' button I believe it's suppose to maintain that temperature in the cabin...so it will blower warmer or colder depending how the cabin conditions are changing. Not sure how fan speed factors in though, or doesn't. I feel like fan speed is always a manual adjustment...seems to sophisticated for that to change automatically too on an old Honda like these haha. But hey.

We have speed sensitive wipers! The Camry doesn’t even have that and it’s a 2012.

The blower know has an auto setting. It blows as hard as needed until the desired internal temp is reached. So that’s blower speed.
There is an AUTO button that makes the screen go blank except for the temperature number. You set that and it pretty much does the same thing; blows as much as needed, where it’s needed, to meet that temp setting.
