I’m pretty new to the forums but I’ve recently been hopping on this one and it’s been helpful. And now I need to know if when doing the manual swap for an 01 can you just swap out the ecu and engine harness to the manual cars to get it to work or do you still just have to rewrite everything.

What motor do you have? F23 or J30? I did my J32 6 speed swap last year and it's pretty much plug and play, minus rewiring one connector for the ecu if you have a Acura CL donor car.

I have a question in this area. I am doing a complete drivetrain swap of f23a1 from auto to manual. The auto is a 2000 ( man. 8/99). The manual I believe is 99 (man. 4/99) I have swapped everything as i have a complete donor vehicle. Engine and trans went in together with harness and computer and gauge cluster. The issue I am having I can not find a solution to anywhere. Behind the fuse box in the engine bay there are two big gray connectors. One connects fine but the other is different between the two harnesses. The manual plug has seven wires while the auto has twelve. I know some of the twelve are for the auto transmission and I would just swap the plugs and match up wires and cap the extras but some wires don't have matches. Is there a wiring diagram anywhere or someone who knows about these plugs and how to wire them for the swap?

That is really helpful information. I am going to need a bit to figure work through some of those. Like why g101 has two wires on the m/t and one from the a/t body. I'm going to go check the other plug again and make sure the wires all line up correctly. I will also check what the circuits are. Thank you for your help. I will get with you tonight or tomorrow.

In the other connector, it appears at least one wire changes color when between m/t and a/t. Is it possible to get the same digram for that plug as well?
Also, Is it possible to get the same document you are using? I appreciate your help, i don't want to bombard you with a thousand questions if the info is available to look it up. If not, hopefully it won't be a thousand questions.
