Bad strut issues, can’t drive

Ok, so I just installed Tein Basics Z coilovers over the weekend, and on my first drive there was a ton of squeaking and sound of movement. I come to realize, the strut rod in the shock is poking up through my top hats as I ride. Like moving up and down. What did I do wrong? I can’t drive my car right now. There’s noticeable marks under my hood just above my top hats, and it poked holes in some of my rear deck plastic pieces

Brand new. I think I may have just found the issue.

I’m missing a bushing that’s causing the rods to be able to move up and down?
