does anyone else love the sport MMA? mma is the rising sport that will one day become bigger than the super bowl. and thats coming from a kid that loves football! but i actually think mma will rise above one day with all the rules the NFL are coming up with! soon to be 2 hand touch football!

MMA was awesome in like 1992 when Royce Gracie was breaking everyone's arms. Guys like the Shamrocks, Nogueira, the Gracies, etc were amazing...Now, it's just the next fad that everyone is hopping on. It will never be bigger than the 4 major sports in this country.

I respect the guys who make it to the top, but seriously, it seems like a whole lot of people are training to be mma fighters. Every tough guy wants to go watch the UFC fight at Hooters or whatever other sports bar is in their area.

It's a fad, enjoy it until the bubble bursts and it goes back to obscurity.

Steve, I'm with you. It will never rise above the major sports in the US.

And I used to really like watching the UFC fights, now I don't give a damn. :lawl:
