I have a pair of chrome halo projectors that i want to black out. I have already blacked out a pair of OEM headlights. But i was wondering if the heat from the oven will mess up the led's for the halos or any other wiring that may be inside. Also I had trouble removing the sealant from the OEM's what would make this easier?

na most likely it has some heat resistance. my leds on my headlight held up fine with 200 degrees.

why remove the sealant? the oem stuff works just fine if you open em once or five times.

thanks for the input. and i removed the oem sealant to ensure a better seal, but i guess i could leave it if i re-baked them

when you separate the lights, take the goo left on your tools (i use normal and skinny flathead screwdrivers and a utility knife) and save it. when you go to put em back together, remember where the most sealant came off or look for low spots.
