So I have a 98 accord with roughly 345k miles on it. I bought it unknowingly that the head gasket was blown. It still runs and drives fine. The only downside to it is that if i’m shutting it off then i have to wait at least 30 minutes to start it back up or it’ll shoot coolant into the engine. The thermostat stays around 1/3 if you let it sit. But when I’m driving it’ll go all the way a little above cold. A couple days ago i had the rpm’s pretty high at like 5. I let it sit over the weekend and when i got to work, (a 30 minute drive) it started idling funny and the notorious white smoke started coming out. I checked the oil and it’s not chocolaty. But it has bubbles. Is there any way that i could cheat code and make it last a little longer. I don’t have the money or time for an engine swap at the moment.
