I was removing my wheels when one of the front (v6 accord) lug nut studs broke off I need the following

Front lug nut stud ( are these even replaceable ? )

If not

Front Knuckle

and I know its a longshot but if anyone has an extra Project Kics Neo Chrome lugnut I would buy that too

Damn that sucks. I ordered some H&R 5mm spacers, they came with some used extended studs that I'm not gonna need. Don't know if the stud differs from 4cyl and 6cyl also.

You can probably hammer out the old broken stud aswell.

well anyone know a shop that can

a) do this for me
b) ReThread a Project Kics Revo lugnut ?

thanks guys

Go to your closest Honda dealer and buy a stud. It'll cost maybe 1-2$ but its guaranteed to fit unlike some of the aftermarket **** where the knurl won't fit through the hub hole.

If you want to do this yourself, you'll have to take off the caliper/pad/rotor. You will have to hammer out the old stud(hit it once) and place something behind the hub so the force does not damage the wheel bearing. Once the old stud is out, you will have to shave off the head of the new stud a bit so it can fit through. You will need some sort of sander for this...a belt sander does great. Once you've shaved the head a tad you will be able to fit it through with ease. Then use a spacer or a socket, followed by an oem lugnut. Thread on the lugnut in order to pull the new stud through.

If you go to a shop expect to pay a maximum of 1hr of labor for the above procedure.

Some shops will say NO and not do the above, due to not wanting to shave the head of the stud as it could affect its integrity. Are they right? Yes...somewhat. I don't think anyone has ever had an issue that arose from shaving off a few mm off the studs head though.
