Hi everybody, I have a few questions about catback exhaust system and wheels.. My car is 1998 Honda Accord Sedan with V6 Vtec, and it has 2 original muffler. I am wondering if I can buy catback exhaust system - 1 muffler and install on my car, or do I have to get 2 mufflers no matter what?

For wheels, I am not sure what is the limit of wide of wheel on my car. I am wondering if this information below will fit on my car?

Rim width: 7.5
Rim Diameter: 17
Offset: 42
Bolt Pattern: 5 x 114.3

Please help me out, thanks!!

yes you can

as far as the wheels, they will fit but they will be pretty sunk.....you could get some spacers to push the wheels out. and ive seen ppl put 10" wide wheels on our cars

To address the exhaust: I believe some v6 members on here have modded an exhaust to have only one outlet. However, I also remember reading that having one outlet may also create too much back pressure in the engine. Most catback systems you are going to find for the v6 have dual outlets.

For the wheels: Are you lowered at all? Those will fit fine. The only trouble you may run into is finding the right amount of camber if you are lowered a lot.

In the future, please use the search function as these are very basic questions and have been answered numerous times on this site. We even have a wheel fitment thread that you could have searched through.

Anyway, I hope the information helps. Welcome to the site!

Most any aftermarket catback for your car will have dual outlets since that's what it had from the factory. If you want single outlet, you'll have to do some custom work.

The wheels will fit fine. Make sure you get the correct tire size.

Great, thanks everybody for your answers! I will not lower my car because there is so many speed bumper around here, so it is not worth it. Lol.

One more question: What is the maximum of wheel width to fit into Accord w/ V6?

^That all depends on a few variables. But since your're stock...8" or 8.5" depending on offset.
