Changing auto tranny oil

I just did this today. Easier then changing the oil cuz you dont have to jack the car up. First time changing in 5yrs. Very simple.

tale it to the shop, if you just drain whats in the resovoir , you are only getting about 1/2 the oil out. The tourqe converter is also full and thats why you drain it and run it then drain and run a few times, that will flush most of the old oil out.

this is what i have been doing. already had it done twice now and the transmission shifts much smoother before i changed it the first time.

hey guys, im going to change my transmission fluid, and for those who need pics ima take some pics while doing so stay tune.
But i have a question how much for the lubricant you think we can add to the transmission with the tranny fluid ?

first time i did it i added 1-quart of royal purple.
