My brakes have been starting to make some lights screeching sounds so I might have to be changing them soon. Front rotors/pads were changed almost 2 years ago and the rear pads were changed as well, rotors are still the same as when I got the car.

Question is what are some good pads to change out my old ones with? I'm looking for good pads that give off very little brake dust since I hate cleaning it off my wheels. Also, would it be wise to change out my rear rotors as well or is it not needed.

I drive a 2000 accord coupe ex-l i4 BTW.

It is usually best to change rotors when doing pads. Just depends on their condition, sometimes they just need turned, etc. Ceramic pads are good for less dust. I use Duralast C-Max Gold pads, work great and free lifetime replacement. Wagner and Hawk seem to be widely used as well.

I have been happy with both. I felt the Hawks were a bit expensive though and dusted a bit more than I would like, not bad for a performance pad though, I just didn't feel they made enough difference in performance fore the money.

Thanks for the replies guys, I'll be looking into the wagner pads when the time comes. Also any recommendation on rotors if I end up changing those as well?

Thermoquiets with Raybestos Professional Grade rotors. Silent operation and braking power is nice, IMO. Then again, I have Legend calipers and V6 rotors in the front.

Go on Rockauto, they're about $16/ea. With rotors and pads, you're looking at about $140 shipped with their usual 5% discount.
