Hello everyone first post on this forum and i have a hard to solve issue with my coolant gauge. Sometimes it will drop all the way to cold and the engine seems to almost downshift but it still stays in the gear it was in. It also feels like vtec disengages and i lose power. Any ideas would be appreciated
Loss of power sounds like the ECU is dipping into Limp mode. I am not sure why it would based on your symptoms. Always have your OBD-II scanned for any trouble codes (DTC), as a starting point.
