DC Sports Ceramic header noise?

I just finished installing my new DC Sports Ceramic Header on my 2000 Accord 2.3L VTech and i am Impressed with the look and the performance but for some reason they make this annoying as hell raspy whistling sound. Anyone with these headers know if they just sound like that normally or if there is a problem. Had them installed at a shop where they used an Impact wrench so it should be tight enough.

Where's the sound coming from exactly?

first guess would be a leak. i haven't replaced a header but you are supposed to tighten the bolts in a certain order i've heard, maybe it was that

That's the header I have, and no whistling here. Sounds like a leaky gasket. Your shop should be using a torque wrench for stuff like that instead of an impact, and Wildman is right, there is a certain sequence to follow. I don't have my service manual handy, but can look it up if you need me to.

My CAI/K&N whistles as I pass through certain rpm ranges, just for a second, but that's another story.

Yea!!! My car has been making that stupid weird whistling sound ever since after i put my first CAI in my car -_- and I can't figure out why >.< I dont care if it keeps whistling...but not knowing where it came from is killing me :bash:

uhhhhh i think intake makes that noise...?? regardless of sri or cai....it makes that noise......

my sri does it too....so yeah, you dont have to kill yourself now....hehe

yea that annoying whistle is from the intake, since its a cone filter the way it sucks air makes that sound. i found mine only appears when i lightly press the gas(cruising), if i give it a little more/less gas it goes away.

and bout the header mine is a little raspy, but no whistle from it
