as long as i remember, i used to have to tell cody that i renewed my supporter status and then my account would go back to being a supporter. i think the first time i did it, it went straight through, but i don't remember it being like that again.
as for appointing mods and such, i'm sure the admins are in charge of that. gilbert and greg still come on though and do things as needed, as well as eric (bn)...he was just on yesterday haha.
