That looks fantastic.

How much did that charge you for that work?

None of the bolts/nuts were seized from the rust though?

Just stating from what they stated in the text message, £300 which includes replacing the inner arch.

They estimated the whole job will cost about £2500 at intial inspection, which included a horribly rusted drivers door. But I managed to find a £50 door from a breakers yard with no rust.

It's a ton of work to be done, but with the underbody coated like that, that should help to extend the life of the car.

I've had this car for 4 years, and to be honest, I'm still not bored of it, plus I get the added bonus of getting second glances since it's not a car seen on the roads here. I had a Civic EJ2 Automatic before, and it had no 'soul'. It felt more like a typical A to B car, and didn't feel very enthusiastic to drive. Same goes with a few Mercs I've driven.

The only other things I would do to this car before I stop spending money on it, are larger wheels and a different exhaust sound. Lowered suspension would be nice, but the speed humps here are pretty steep. Not entirely sure where to go with the exhaust tho, I thought of just getting a muffler, but I want to be sure I don't end up killing the performance or breaking the MOT passing regulations.

Nah, those pics were before they've done anything. You can probably see, there's a lot of patchy paint over the bonnet, and the rear bumper. When it's all done, it will have a full lip kit too.
