so my brother asked me the other day wat is the real difference between an eg6 and an ek9. i had no idea because im just a fan of honda cars and i dont know much about mods and engines. i knew his question was based from his initial D game so i just said one has more hp and the other has better handling lol

anyways that question has acutally been floating in my mind so i mind as well find the truth. =D

i was looking for an EG hatch before i found the celica.. it's IMPOSSIBLE to find one in decent condition or one that's NOT fixed up or NOT riced out :madrun:

my dream was to build an EG, but tht would have to wait i guess..... EK looks ok imo

 I find this sad you say that you are just a fan of honda cars and you did not now what this was. not to start trouble but you sounded just like a ricer who did not know what they are talking about. I am sorry bro but it is true any real honda fan would know stuff like this.

Both cars have awesome aftermarket support, and plenty of straightforward engine swap choices. The EG's can take many parts from the DC Integras straight up, so you get way more parts options there. A lot of stuff from the Integra Type-R should just bolt on to the EG. The EG's are lighter, and they're cheaper too, so building it up is a lot easier.

If you're looking for raw performance potential, the EG's are definitely the way to go. You'll be able to have lots of fun with either car though. I've got many friends who've got them, ranging from mild I/H/E modded daily drivers to more elaborate B16/B18 setups (and one H22 swap in the past) to one full out built-from-the-ground-up race car with a K20.

fan and "one who memorizes chassis codes" are not always the same. hey probably just prefers hondas, like some guys prefer ford over chevy or so on. at least that's how I took it
